With miles of private trails on our property, as well as quick, safe, and easy access to the Iron Mountain trailhead, there is something to meet the needs of trail riders at every level. We extend a sincere welcome to friends of our boarders -- allowing them to utilize some of the county's greatest trails right from our facility.

Each of our arenas feature a sand composite that offers excellent footing even after the worst of rain storms that we have ever experienced here in San Diego County. This particular composite eliminates the need to rip and drag arenas as there are no dirt clods. Each arena has a different depth of footing, making it possible to meet the needs of a wide variety of riding disciplines. Our largest arena is so well lit that even the adjacent round pen is safe for use at night.

Outside trainers are always welcome to come work with their clients at Poway Equestrian Center. We simply ask that their insurance coverage meet the needs and guidelines set by our insurance carrier. There are a variety of trainers that have insurance coverage necessary to work at PEC, so if you are in the market for a trainer, we would be happy to share with you the list of trainers in good standing.
