Poway Equestrian Center is a boarding facility located in the eastern portion of Poway. Encompassing 52 acres, we are large in size, yet we keep the maximum number of horse at 65, thus enhancing the feel of privacy. The geographic location of PEC allows for wonderful weather. Even on the hottest of days, we are blessed with a gentle late morning breeze that continues through the afternoon. Visitors from coastal locations marvel out just how comfortable the days with warmer temperatures really are. With views that span Del Mar to the Coronado Islands, you feel as though you are on top of the world. It is such a wonderful feeling to be horseback and watch ships move about on the water or the hot air balloons over Rancho Sante Fe.

We have boarders that come to ride in the evening after work express that the views our facility offers make the "perfect ending" to any work day. Freeway driving and central location within the county allow you an easy drive of approximately 30 minutes or less from most areas. We are "city close yet feel quite remote." Interstate 15 is less than 6 miles from our location, giving easy commute from every area of the county. Driving time to downtown San Diego is approximately 30 minutes, Del Mar is 25 minutes, and San Marcos is 25 minutes
